Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the response.  I'm happily surprised that your not experiencing much latency.  On another post, Bob Heil also suggested excede.  I talked with them earlier today and they are coming out with new plans in January.  I will keep them in mind.

Remember that excede is limited in data usage and if you steam a few movies, (which is becoming more popular) you can exceed your cap quickly. Team Mobile has cheapest wireless internet in US according to on line reviews and they also allow you to roll over unused data from one month to next. Also consider that satellite service is effected by weather because of frequency it operates on. We have direct TV and heavy rain in signal path will cause LOS and always at wrong time it seems while cellular is not effected.

all of the wireless data plans seem very expensive.  I'm about 1.5 miles from the end of the cable line, and I've been told we are out of their zone.  So close but she far!  I might ultimately setup a microwave link if I can swing the money.  My first choice for a remote rig was a flex 6700, but when I realized that I was going to need 1 GB per hour, well that killed that plan.
