RS-BA1 - No received audio
« on: January 03, 2016, 07:01:53 PM »

Icom 7600, Navigator interface, USB cable from Navigator to rig. PC running Windows 10, 64 bit.

I can control the Icom both locally and from another PC on the LAN, and change frequency, modes, etc.
The problem is that for the life of me I can not get audio output from the receiver to either the local or remote PCs.
I've tried various settings, changing speakers, USB audio CODEC, ICOM Virtual Audio, etc. but no success.
With HRD using the USB audio CODEC, I do get received audio input into the software.

I should mention that when I increase the AF gain on the RS-BA1 remote control display, the volume increases in the rig's locally-connected headphones, not in the PC speaker which is what the goal is. This seems to happen no matter which AF output device I choose in the setup.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Possibly related to what you are experiencing: Lenovo docking station would not pass the analog audio from any docked computer. The fix was to reinstall the audio driver for the computer while docked and with something plugged into the dock's audio port.
