LoTW / QSL Received
« on: April 13, 2016, 03:25:11 PM »

I don't see a thread here at eHam forum where people could keep posting what QSL cards or LoTW confirmation they received so I thought I'd start it. Please, post what QSL / LoTW confirmation you receive when you receive them.  ;D

FT4XU – KERGUELEN ISLAND, activity at the end of 2015 and the start of 2016, just received via LoTW. Paper QSL card not yet received, but LoTW confirmation is at home!  ;D

Hi Marvin:

Congrats on getting the LOTW confirmation. I have no idea why and how I missed that one, must have been celebrating too much etc, during that time frame. I will blame it on too much snowmobiling.

Thanks Mike. It wasn't too difficult to overlook it as it wasn't a large DXpedition. The operator was there on a job and in his spare time he used a low power (50W) station and a low dipole 6ft above ground to make only 216 QSOs.  ;D

VK9/LB1GB - COCOS (KEELING) ISLANDS - LOTW confirmation received just now. VK9/LB1GB was a part of the VK9CK team and he used VK9/LB1GB call sign during a CW contest (don't remember which contest it was now).

It seems VR2VAZ has joined LOTW and uploaded new and old QSOs. I just received a few confirmations from him.

Speaking of LoTW credits, I applied for some WPX awards and endorsements yesterday.

I found out this morning that many of my prefix credits were missing in LoTW.  The WPX awards manager, N8BJQ, kindly initiated an "account update" on the WPX credits in my LoTW account, which nearly doubled my number of prefix credits.  Steve explained that " When WPX & LoTW started, LoTW only calculated from that day.  The account update should go thru all of your credits."

Perhaps this has been discussed before, but I thought it might be helpful to others.
