I've been a member here on e-ham for awhile and I love the people here not a "Big I" little you site". Don't have to think about being looked at differently for being Premium, lifetime, or any such as that.  the openness I enjoy about comments is very nice.  I'm not out to ruffle any feathers just enjoy read and comment.  I spent my two separate banning's from QRZ  here, I wish, I had stayed after the first one.

I don't recall ever paying QRZ anything, I just went over there, picked a forum at random and posted "test". It seems to work ok...

The only thing that changed is that the forum called Rag Chew Central II was removed.
It was replaced with a new forum called "Just Talking" and it's for paid subscribers only.

I'm really glad that you did that because the entire premise of this thread is 100% false.

Every single ham radio related forum on QRZ is free and open to all ham users, no subscription required.  Absolutely nothing has changed for these forums.   One forum, having nothing to do with ham radio, was recently made Subscriber-only.

Hello, Fred.  Welcome to Eham.

While the first remark wasn't accurate, there are a few comments within the body of this that are 'on point.'  So, there is, perhaps, about 99% validity, and 1%, not 100%, inaccuracy.  Take a look, it might be worth your while.

I just took a look at your new thread at the Zed, admittedly only the last of eleven pages; and was met with the familiar list of Super Moderators and Moderators self-talking.  Oh, well.  Why I hang out here most of the time now.

It's a pleasure not to have PG clipping away content for no good reason.  Almost forgot what that was like.

Maybe if you would actually get rid of the racists homophobic and flat out hateful people the RCC2 wouldn't of been a problem. oh I forgot they are the protected group cause they toss money at you and are unable to be banned.

So, what's the point of having a non ham radio forum in the first place?

According to you, it's nothing but a PITA.

Really, all you're doing is creating bad buzz for your entire site. If your subscribers really have that much of a jones to talk about politics, Stormfront and Free Republic are always available for their use.

Hey Fred I think it's a pretty good idea.  It's nice to debate people who are know and not using some alias as they would do on other forums.
