Minutes of the September 17 Zola amateur radio club in Newton, MA

Subject: [marc] Minutes from our September 17 meeting, AKA what you missed if you were not there

1.       The pizza was one pepperoni and cheese and the other pizza was mushroom and onion
2.       2. Bob gave us a tour of the Zola community center.
3.       3. Frank demonstrated his low buck 2m/440mhz go box built from an Igloo playmate cooler.
4.       4. Mr. Rice, the building manager told us that the situation with an electrical problem at the Brigham house is on his radar screen and will be resolved.
5.       5. Howie inquired about new HTs that had good performance and gave him the audible feedback he desires. We spoke about a new HT from Kenwood that will be available in a few weeks. Here is a link:

As usual a good time was had by all.

The Zola amateur radio club meets monthly in the Brigham House Community Center, located at 20 Hartford Street in Newton Massachusetts.
