I recently bought an Icom IC-208H VHF/UHF transceiver from a ham on QTH.  The rig looks nice and except for a cheap Chinese knock-off mic seems to work OK, EXCEPT for having almost full scale interference on 2 meters from a LED desk lamp and causing the LED desk lamp to come on and off when the rig is keyed on 2 meters.  I also have a Yaesu FT-7800 VHF/UHF rig that when sitting at the same place on my desk and hooked up the same way, has no problems what-so-ever.  There is zero interference on receive and the LED lamp stays on the power it is set for (three different brightness settings).  My question is there a problem with the Icom or is the Yaesu that much better?  I will also post this on the Elmer forum.  Any help will be appreciated.  TNX and 73, Ray AK4RL
