After much research and some friendly emails from west mountain radio my rig is under wireless bluetooth control. I purchased their RIG BLASTER and a headset from them that is wireless also. Being an analog guy I avoid software like a flu shot.
In 10 minutes of reading and a few connectors I got it to work, out of the box. I have headset gain control of audio, and adjustable gain controls on the rig blaster for audio, mike gain, and vox delay. The box had the 8 pin cable, audio cable, power supplies for blaster and headset plus programming connectors.
Wee, that was fine, I even have head set mute. The blaster allows mike sensitivity and other features that I have not explored. The blaster allows connection to a pc and other digital mode interfaces. This is not using my HEIL 7 pro but that plugs into the rig blaster and allows headset operation at the bench or switch over to the bluetooth set to walk to the fridge or even walk out to water the radials, HI.
Thought that this is worthy of mention, Iam happy and it was seamless for less than $300 with more features to allow operation of the rig.
I VOTE this a WINNER, enjoy Woody N4MQ
