Icom RSBA1 and Icom 7300
« on: September 13, 2017, 12:05:20 PM »

Hello,
I now have an Icom 7300.  I have used the Icom RSBA1 software ok with the Icom 9100 in the past.
I did update the software from Icom to v1.94.
Using the menu on the Icom 7300 the only entry is auto 0r 19200 baud.
If I set the baud rate to auto on the Icom 7300 I cannot communicate with the attached PC.
If I set the baud rate to 19200 baud then it does communicate.
If I set to auto on the Icom and 115xxx on the PC I cannot communicate.  Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?
I can connect via a remote PC and do get audio, but I am unable to get the remote control program to work.  Again any idea what is wrong?

Ok I have it working. But is seems that the IC-7300 is only capable of 19.2kb.

This post is a bit old but the 7300 will run at 115000. You need to go into the settings and go to connectors->CIV and set it to unlink from remote. This separates the USB connections from the CIV connection on the back. Once you do that you can set the speed to 115000
