You would need to first remove all the input tuning circuits and the band switches, also all the output inductors. Then find a ARRL "The Radio Amateur's Handbook" from 1977. On page 219 there is a project for a Grounded-Grid 50-Mhz Amplifier using a 3-500Z tube. Simply install the input and output tuning circuits as shown in the book. There is plenty of room to do this. The only drawback is that now you have a single band, 50-Mhz amplifer! I personaly would not do this but simply buy a "Brick" solid state 50-Mhz amplifer. You get to keep a very nice HF amplifer and have a very nice "no-tune" solid state amplifer available for use. A switching system could be built to switch between amplifers if your using some of the later model amplifers with all HF bands plus 6 meters.
