Yaesu Kam+ and Configuration

I have a Yaesu FT920, which I dearly love, but I also love to work RTTY. I have "waded" through 3 manuals, numerous web pages and made test transmissions, but can not get everything configured properly. I keep getting reports that I am transmitting off frequency. I am using FSK and the Kam+. I have the cabling correct; the configuration is what the Yaesu tech bulletin says it should be, and still no luck. For example, if I am transmitting on 14.083.53, the receiving station reports that I am on 14.083.86 and I must be tuned in by his RIT.  What am I doing wrong?

Contact Associated Radio 800-497-1457 there are folks there that can help when all else fails.  As a matter of fact, you can request they build/sell you the connection cable you need for the 920/1000MP to work digital modes.
Good Luck.....
