From the factory it's a 630m DX machine. I wonder what can be configured now or in the future thru the front panel USB connector. No one knows where the longwave ham bands are going. I'd order one of the transverters but winter is setting in here. I'm not messing with transmitting antennas now. I find the WSPR and CW listening to be fun enough.
Rob Sherwood, NC0B, just got one. I'm curious what he'll have to say about the transverter's performance.
AE5X: Simple $15 Jackson Harbor converters are well regarded for basic LW reception. I think they're still available from someone.
