KW 1000 LINEAR AMPLIFIER

My KW 1000 Linear amplifier makes my TS 440s Kenwood transciver deaf I lose about 5/6 s point

Sounds like the T/R relay in the amp needs to have the relay contacts cleaned or adjusted, or the relay should be replaced.

I'm with Phil, relay is first suspect.  

Relay contacts can be cleaned with ordinary white paper or a clay containing rough business card.  

Put the paper between the contacts and polish them.

Don't use anything more abrasive than that on them.

Hello guys.
Thanks  for  information one hundred  percent  you  are  right  I  only  clean  the  relay  and  become  like  new  now  receive  fine  thanks  again.
