APRS Radios - Dual VFO ?
« on: January 24, 2018, 10:43:03 AM »

Are there any APRS radios on the market that have the full APRs built in so the I can be working the local 2m repeater while traveling and the APRS side pings the local APRS service?

I'm not familiar with Kenwood or iCom, but Yaesu has several.  The FT-350 (now discontinued), the FTM-400XDR (System Fusion digital) the FT1DR handheld (also System fusion) and the FT2DR handheld (System Fusion.)  There may be other, but I'm not familiar with them.

Kenwood's APRS-ready HTs do that, too. TH-D72 and TH-D74 in current production, as well as the TH-D7 which has been out of production for many years.
