Anyone running FLRIG on Raspberry Pi?
« on: February 13, 2018, 12:15:28 PM »

I want to control an ICOM HF rig with my Raspberry Pi3.  I have loaded LFrig on but can't seem to get it to talk to the ICOM.  No need for the entire FLpackage. Can anyone lend a hand or point me in the right direction?
Thanks,

I have used FLRIG on a PI.

You need to get access to the USB port.

From the Internet:

What you need to do is make your login userid part of the group associated with the USB device.

For this case, we add the group dialout to our userid user using the usermod command. This command requires root privileges to run.

[user@machine ~]$ sudo usermod -a -G dialout user

You will need to log out then log back in and now you should have access to the device.
