Good for what?  Yes, they were actually in Yemen and if you worked them, then you worked Yemen.  Who gives a  damn if the ARRL "blesses" the operation?  I almost let the ARRL's mismanagement of the DXCC program ruin my interest in DX until I realized that I didn't need the League to validate the fun I was having working DX.  The pope doesn't live in Newington.
