I am looking at using a Raspberry Pi for an application and am curious if the will support more than one add on board on the 40 pin connector?

If the first shield/hat/cape/whatever you mount has "pasthrough" pins for any unused GPIO you should be able to mount additional boards that make use of those particular pins with no problem. I would think, anyway, never done it.
