I have been hearing kids using HT's on 446 MHz.
I got a beam heading on them but they make very short transmissions.
Most times just 2 way chatter with low deviation, some times with 'Roger' beeps.
Then I got to measure their exact frequency, it is 446.005 MHz.
446.005 is a PMR (Personal Mobile Radio) Frequency used in the UK.
So someone in our city might have gotten hold of some UK radios.
446.005 is one of their channels.
That doesn't help to find them but it helps to know what they are.
