Hi all,

I've been asked by my sister to show/teach a girl scout troop VHF repeater use this coming Monday evening March 11, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas (the western part of Fort Worth near White Settlement and west of Joint Base Fort Worth). I'm from Arizona and I'll be visiting there on vacation so I don't know the local repeater environment in terms of activity levels.

Any recommendations on an active repeater in that area that would have people monitoring who would be interested in taking a minute for each girl so they can talk on the radio?  They are working on their ARRL-Girl Scouts radio badge.

I'll have with me my Icom 2GAT 2M handheld any my Yaesu FT-90R with a 2M mag mount antenna.

At some point I'll connect them with a club for some HF experience but right now my sister just wants me to do the VHF segment for them.

Thanks.

Look up 146.94. Tone 110.9 It is the local RACES repeater and most active. Shouldn't have a problem.

Thank you!  I'll give it a try.
