The F520 is a VHF 25W radio and the F620 is a UHF 25W radio.
They are seperate radios and NOT a single dual band radio.

This is a commercial quality radio and to answer your question
NO they are what they are and you can not change the frequency
range.

Thank you that is what I thought as one a 5 series was available on ebay and it was listed as VHF/UHF. Being new to this hobby and trying to do this on the cheap so I thought ask before you leap I am going to wait and get a new radio although I do not know why I want to do VHF/UHF as I think the HF band will keep me busy.

You must be careful of some people on ebay since many sellers do not
know much about what they are selling which translates to you doing
your research first so you are not flying blind about what you seek on
ebay. I stopped buying on ebay long ago due to the rampant ignorance
of many sellers who are selling items acquired in huge lots of equipment.

I am not an expert on radios and far from it but I just do not trust anyone that sells on ebay as well, I have been stuck a couple of times, being new to the hobby I have to do research on the ham equipment as this post shows where I ask about the radio. I would like to get a VHF/UHF all in one radio that will not take up space. I keep an eye on the advertisements on eham and a few other sites. What really is a bummer is there are no brick and mortar stores near me, the one and only shop in MN closed last year and I believe there is one in Milwaukee WI some 300+ miles. I thank you for the information have a wonderful year ahead.
