Any info on the 2019 crossband test?
« on: April 23, 2019, 02:28:17 PM »

Looking for info on the up coming Cross-band test that I believe will be held on May 11th.
Wanting to get all the freqs/modes programed in as early as possible. I'm hoping this year it's fully under control with all stations listed, on the air, at the correct time, using the published freq an mode.  ;D

Well found it, but it looks like
ABM1, ADB & NSS all share 14,487.0
ABM1 & ADB share 20,994.0
War & ABH share 5,357.0
WAR & AAZ share 18,211
NAF & NIIW share 4,013.5
NAF & NIIW share 14,383.5
WUG-2  NIIW & NEPM all share 18,293.0
NSS & AAZ share 5330.5
NIIW & NEPM share 18,293.0
This may be by design, but will stop some from getting them all.  :(
The above is correct per, 71 years old eyes,... :P but not warranted or represented as fact. :P

Anyone know if the different stations assigned the same freqs is an over sight, or is there a reason for it? Seems to me they could spread  them out by 5-10Kc's so those trying to work them all would have a better chance of same.

Hmmm... the units have been kHz for the last few decades. I think even before Al Gore invented the Internet.

Still trying to find out if the freq share is/was an accident, or planned?
I've tested all my gear an ready as I can be. Anyone else doing this?

Now I fully realize why, Mars leaves such a bad taste for many.

Well it's over, thankfully. After this one doubt there will be any more for me, not worth it as the taste of this one will last along time. I use to really enjoy these but times change.
