Operated as part of a joint venture between the Lorain County Amateur Radio Assn and the Northern Ohio Amateur Radio Society. We were set up in one of the Lorain County Metroparks (Indian Hollow), just west of Cleveland. Class 5A, lots of operators, lots of visitors, conditions above 20 meters were abyssmal (solar flux of 65 will do that), but overall a great time was had by all, and we really ate well!
If you worked K8KRG on either 40 CW or 20 CW on Saturday, that was probably me at the paddles.
During the day, the weather was gorgeous. Sunny with high temps around 80F But it got rather chilly at night.
Felt like I was going to freeze my butt off, as the low overnight was around 50F, with high humidity.
It must have been a great Field Day, because I'm tired, and a little sore.
I hope all of you had as great a time as we did!
Can't wait for Field Day next year!
