I am curious as to how many hams are using PSK-31 on the 2 meter frequencys?

What frequencies are psk-31 on, on 2 meters. Greg.

Greg. it was reported to me by W2BRI  that in the NYC area they are using 144.144 for PSK-31 operation. What he didn't say was what mode, USB, LSB or what other states may be doing the same. It would certainly be interesting to find out more about this. Many of us would like to use PSK-31 for local use as does W2BRI.      Bill   AC6IJ     email    normally@softcom.net

Yes, we are doing some PSK31 on 2M in USB. I have also explored PSK 31 on 440, and 2M FM. Works great. Always happy to set up a sched.

Hi, all,

YES!  There is some activity around the Bloomington, Indiana area.  PSK31 on or around 144,145.00.  Also, RTTY on or around 144,150.00 plus CW on or around 144,100.00 and SSB on or around 144,200.00.

Active stations include K9IU (Student Club Station on Indiana University Campus); K9QDR; WB9TLH.  Have not heard the SSB Thursday night 8:00 PM EST SSB Net on 144,210.00 recently due to my work sched., but they are most likely still there in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

You can usually find me, Lee K9QDR, on 30M PSK evenings and weekends at about 10,140.500 (Pactor permitting).

Yes, PSK31 works fine on 2 and 432 USB but frequency stabilty can be a problem. Path must be stable as any trace of aurora knocks it out. Have not had a chance to try MFSK16 or 8 on Aurora but Hellschriber works very well. Have used PSK31 many times on 125 mile paths.
