Amazing propagation?
« on: June 29, 2019, 09:10:13 AM »

I called CQ CW on 20-10m and checked reports on RBN. Outside of NA:

On 20m CX(17db), OH5 (22db), TF (8db),
On 17m GI (4db).
On 15m OH6 (27 db) and CX (14 db)
On 12m only US stations up to 20db
On 10 m only US up to 30db.

no response except from W5 on 20m.
Running 1.5 KW and 2 el quad @ 35 ft.

Seems conditions are not that bad.

Agree. I just had a LSB QSO running barefoot with a dipole from Oregon to Saipan in the Mariana Islands with KH01 at solid 5/9’s! on both ends. Short lived at about 15 minutes but you gotta love gray line on 40m and a lotta patience to be blessed like that. It’s my farthest voice QSO. 6,500 miles running 100 watts. Wow... still amazed.
