Foreign address in FCC database?

Hello,

Can I update my record in the FCC database with my French address?

Gil -

No. A requirement of holding an amateur radio license issued by the US FCC is that you have a valid mailing address served directly by the United States Postal Service. This is documented in part 97.23.

If you want, you could post your French address on QRZ or another web site, but the ULS must show a US address where you can receive mail. (This could be someone who agrees to forward mail to you, which is a common practice for non-residents who hold licenses.)
