Hi

I am having problems decoding on any data mode on DM780 whether HRD is running or not.
The problem manifests itself with random letters and no tangible copy via the waterfall.

My setup:

TS480sat
DM780
PC Widows 7

I believe I have set the rig correctly having read the manual several times to set it up plus I'm not a newbie.
I have had it working in the past but when I changed to a better sound card off it went.
I have to say TX is fine but I notice the waterfall seems out of focus. PSK31 for example isn't crisp and clear like I see on many You Tube examples,
its blurry and indistinct yet Tx is as you would expect. 

I have checked, rechecked, made sure the data comm ports are synced, gone over the sound card settings and on DM780 many times. 
I suppose it boils down to what setting or slider would increase the waterfall focus as this seems to be the prob
Any hints would be really helpful.

FWIW --

Set things up with this slightly fuzzy waterfall.

Clap your hands.

If the handclap appears on the waterfall, DM780 is getting its audio from the computer's microphone.  Or some other source, but not a wire link to the transceiver.
