How can I tell if my IGATE is being used by others?
« on: October 05, 2019, 05:13:17 AM »

Hi,

I've been running Direwolf configured to be an IGATE out of my home shack for about a week.

How do I know if my IGATE has been useful to anyone else? I'm inclined to keep it running if others are benefiting from it.

Thanks!

User manual

https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf/blob/master/doc/User-Guide.pdf

Page 118, par 9.10.6 IGate Debugging Options

Command line option "-di" shows packets being sent to the server.

I guess I was thinking I could go to APRS.fi and see if any packets came through my IGATE over the past week. Is that doable?
