Kenwood TS-2000X & 2,4Ghz Transverter
« on: October 25, 2019, 08:25:30 AM »

Hello to all,
First please apologise if my question can sound a stupid question but for me that I am not quite sure how to do it is not.
I have an 2,4Ghz Transverter that I have to connect it to a Kenwood TS-2000 but I have some doubts.
I know that I have to connect it to the 430Mhz port but here is the first silly question: I have to first disconnect the 430Mhz antenna from the radio and connect the radio to the Transverter but what about the 430Mhz antenna I have disconnected?
Should I have to connect it somewhere on the Transverter?
I mean when I want use again the 430Mhz band I have to disconnect the cable from the transverter and reconnect the 430Mhz antenna? Do I need every time to disconnect and reconnect every time I want to change band or there is a way to avoid connect and disconnect?
Hope have explained my doubt and hope in someone that an help me.
Any help will be really appreciated.
