g90 xmit ALERT!!!

i usually keep my xiegu g90 on 40 mtrs and the other vfo on broadcast band. today i pressed the tune button and didnt see i was on bcst. IT TUNED! I SAW THE  external power/swr meter flicker !! on ? 1140 am...
it will not key there but it will tune there. jfwiw :-[ :-\

I guess it will improve reception and filter some noise

i found it will xmit on am bcst band...dont use your call...!!

I think you are confusing 630 meters with 630 MHz (which unlike 630 meter is in the MF AM broadcast band.

I think you are confusing 630 meters with 630 MHz (which unlike 630 meter is in the MF AM broadcast band.

No , not confused at all! 630 meters is a MF Ham band (472-479KHz)
The broadcast band frequency is 630 KHz NOT 630 MHz !

That was exactly my point in response to the guy who was concerned it (the g90) would transmit on the "bcst band" and the question this comment provoked "will it transmit on 630 meters?" (which I think was you, AC2EU...

I must be missing your point.
I was wondering since it transmits on the broadcast band, does also transmit in the 472-479KHz range (630 meters) which is not  that far away from the bottom of the broadcast band.
If so, what power output does it have.
I never played with one of these radios, so I have no clue about them.
