Hi All
I have a Diamond HF6FX mobile 6m antenna, and I can only get it to resonate (swr below 2.5) below 50mhz, its about 48.500 where it is 1:1.

the tuning is only by way of sliding the antenna element up and down.. I need to physically shorten it a bit to get it on freq. but both ends are sealed.

has anyone done any shortening of these type of antennas? or any suggestions as to lower its resonance
even attached to my nano vna and holding the base of the antenna its still resonant around 49mhz
