Mobile use of TimeWave ANC-4 ?
« on: January 25, 2020, 10:20:33 AM »

Anyone out there in radio land have any experience using the ANC-4 in a mobile situation? I have severe injector pulse noise from my F-350 diesel and am wondering whether the ANC-4 can eradicate it. The noise definitely comes in through the antenna...not elsewhere. Thanks for insights.

The ANC-4 works by amplifying the interference from a reference antenna and adjusting phase and amplitude to cancel the interfering signal on the main antenna line. Problem with a mobile application is the signal multipath that take place when the truck is mobile or the terrine changes.

You would be much better to put toxoids in each of the injector lines at the injector controller. What engine are you using? My 7.3L International Harvester in my 2001 does not make any RF noise,
