Tekk NT-10 programming
« on: February 12, 2020, 08:14:10 AM »

I have been gifted a Tekk NT-10 vhf handheld and would like to reprogram it for amateur frequencies. My plan is to give it to a new ham who is just getting started in radio. Unfortunately, no one in the area has the programming cable and the only one I have found online is $40. I only have the one radio so it really isn't cost effective for me to buy the cable just to program one radio and be done with it. Does anybody know how to construct my own cable or do you know someone who might be willing to program the radio for me? I contacted Tekk but they no longer have a cable for that radio. I would hate to think it doesn't still have some life in it. Thanks guys.

I bought cables to program the Tekk radios.  I have a couple of the Tekk NT-10.  My problem has been trying to find the software to program them.  What are you planning to use to program this radio?
