Reverse Beacon Network maps of Beacons
« on: February 25, 2020, 10:21:01 AM »

Hi all, Does anyone know of maps that have the positions of beacons on the RBN?
I just became acquainted with this and instead of planting cute little stars on my wall map I wanted to see if there was anything out there like this. I have searched around, and with RBN's maps down it would be nice to simply look at a map to locate where I'm being heard. Thanks for any info!

dxmaps.com will do what you want. You have to register an account but then you can filter the map on your call sign/band/mode and see your spots. I don't know where the spot data comes from, though. It might be RBN?

From the FAQ:
"The colour of the callsigns indicates the source of the information for a given report:

Black (like XX0XX) are spots from the DX-Cluster
Blue (Like XX0XX) are spots coming from the WSPR network
Green (Like XX0XX) are reports from the Reverse Beacon network
Magenta (Like XX0XX) are reports from the PSK-Reporter network and FM-SWL reports coming from FMList
Brown (Like XX0XX) are AIS, APRS, WSJT-X and MAP65 reports sent using AIS DX Aggregator, APRS DX Aggregator, WSJT DX Aggregator and MAP65 DX Aggregator
Violet (Like XX0XX) are QSO taken from the on-line station log"
