I was on 15M last night about 0230Z 4/8 and it was hopping with FT8 signals covering the screen from ZL/VK and more, in the single digit range S/N too. I worked a 3D2 and a VK and then bingo, right on time the power went off. Being about 2030 local, I just went to bed, but I've been noticing a lot of activity on 12/10M also, but mostly to SA. Seems to me something is happening besides the virus.

There definitely seems to be some improvement.

While monitoring 11m (27.385 LSB) while at work today, I heard a station in Sydney Australia.  Immediately hopped up to 10m and tried CQ for a bit; no love.  Tried 15m and did the same; no love there either.  Ah well.  It's like a little teaser to give us hope :)

I was also listening on 27.385 in my mobile using a radio that covers both bands. There was another station that made the contact to Australia, as soon as he made the contact he was done, no conversation. I was driving home at about 5:15 in Los Angeles.
Now I am going to check my posting time to compare it to your posted time as I don't know the offset of the website.

Sorry, I didn't think to take note of the time, but I'm pretty certain it was between 3pm and 3:30pm pacific time.  It's possible things opened up again around 5:15, but I didn't have the radio on at that time.

And 11m is open again 2pm pacific time.  Lots and lots of Arizona stations loud and clear in northern california.  Unfortunately, 10m is dead, but 15m has a little bit of ft8 activity.

Too busy with work right now to call CQ anywhere though :(

Quite a few on 6 meter FT8 and of course a wad of the usual south americans on 10 meters as well. 10 is NOT dead.. Everyone is on 28.074   6 meters is 50.313.   I worked WO7R  :)

I haven't heard 10 meters as good as it is right now in several years. It's not often I work beyond the pacific basin from KH6 land.
