I'm also going to get a Anytone - AT-D878UV_PLUS before the summer holllyday.

Make certain the radio rides high so your body does not interfere with propagation.

What color?

What else do you want to carry?

About 2-3 kilos in the west in small B&P.
Probably Two radios and spare batteries.
The plan is to carry the radio high on the west with 1/4wl antenna for maximum radiation.
The use will be for E-com and probably walks/ekserzise.
Color is not very important but because it will be cvilian use it should not look very military.

Have you looked at Amazon?  They have a bunch of accessories for Molle type vests and backpacks in all colors.  That's where I've gotten most of my pouches and bags for my backpacks.  Plenty to choose from at all price points.

Mount a BNC or SO-239 on a hard hat and mount antenna on that, then
run a ground lead down your back to your shoes and tie to copper nails in your
shoes so you are grounded.
That will also help if you have a lightning strike.

Don't forget thast the FCC just made major changes to the OET-63 RF exposure rules that go into effect next month.  You'll now be required to perform an RF exposure evaluation for each of the radios with their antenna system.  You might be prohibited from using your equipment in manpack fashion.

In Norway FCC regulation do not apply.
I will make some kind of counterpoise in the west.
