I was poking around on
https://www.aprsdirect.com/
and noticed a balloon, W8MV-11 off the US east coast. It has been in the air for over 260 days circling the Earth at least 17 times. They hold the world record for the longest time in the air for currently active balloons.

I wonder if the balloon was shot down as it last reported on 05/15/2020 4:40:33 AM when it was over Volgograd, Russia. At that time it was at 41816 feet.

The balloon reappeared over China, crossed Japan and the last position was over Alaska on 5/23/2020.
