V6
« on: May 24, 2020, 04:09:08 AM »

My first real foray into real qrp. Ubitx V6
I love it ..... got it yesterday, assembled it last night.
I worked my usual 80m stuff this morning from the shack on my dipole.
Still have a few items to work out ... speaker, my cigar box case didn't work as intended, and
I'm a complete noob to the operation.
But fun as heck!

Congratulations!  I can be a lot of fun to make contacts with homebrew gear!

Congrats on the V6.  I just got one as well, learning how it works, fixing the microphone so it works, etc.
Hope to work you someday.  de Frank KG9H

My current mic is a computer desk mic I got at a discount store.
2 bucks!
Re-wired it to bypass all the pretty lights and stuff and get the capsule wired direct to the radio.
Added a ptt and it's working great.
I just received my 13 Colonies Certificate in the mail with the QRP endorsement that I used the V6 for the sweep!
