Ordered replacement parts for my antenna and got all the wrong stuff. Even sent the part numbers. Oh well. Delayed the tower raising but they did let me keep all the wrong parts and not have to hassel with sending them back. MFJ, the struggle continues.

Your error was that you probably sent the right part numbers. You should have sent the wrong part numbers and things would have worked out better.

Made an order for three items with NO indication on the website as to whether these items actually existed in stock.  Got an email reply indicating that one or more of the items in fact was not in stock and that a ship date could not be supplied.  Cancelled the order for all three items.

The new website is like putting lipstick on a Pig!

Yes you are so right! Ill do that next time. Like KG4RUL said some of my items were on back order too but no one told me and there was also no ETA on when they would be in.

my main complaint about the new MFJ website is that the search tool usually does not do a good job of finding products.  I KNOW there is a particular antenna that MFJ makes but the search tool simply cannot find it even after using all possible permutations of words.  However, when I google the antenna I am interested in, I can go straight to the product page with no problem.  I guess google knows a think or two about making good search engines.....

MFJ is a total mess. Ordered parts three weeks ago. Got the wrong ones, ones I never ordered, and then got shorted ubolts on a element mounting kit. Called once and they said they would send the correct parts and to just keep the mistakenly shipped parts. Today I find they sent the parts to the wrong address despite this being a warranty order and me confirming my address. Call them and their answer is to wait another few days and we will send again. Originally bought this from the old Cushcraft before MFJ bought them. Tried hard with these guys but this is too much work. Lol.

Order anything from HRO and you receive a free MFJ catalog with your order. No need to worry about navigating the website.

A good thing about MFJ is that they do have a really good and awesome paper catalog. I can sit for hours just looking at all of their items. Most dealers keep them on hand.

Those catalogs also make great liners for bird cages.

Especially once you run out of N2SR qsl cards....

The site still sucks. Try to get an Ameritron product manual and you have to go to one of the off site companies and the manual is not up to date. I did find one for their 90's era AL-1200 ;D

I have commented to them about how difficult it is to find anything specific on their new site. And MFJ manuals have never been "up to date". They seem to make changes on the fly and not document them very well. Not that I don't have some of their products around and find them useful and workable. But before I hook them up I take the covers off and inspect them. But then I tend to do that to many things I buy.
