Mac/Gqrx Problem
« on: July 04, 2020, 11:39:09 AM »

Downloaded Max OSX software from Gqrx web site on a Mac running Catalina. Device is a RF Space Net SDR dongle. On the page for input controls, the antenna space is blank. I know from previous operation this is supposed to be "RX". No matter what I do,  can't get this item entered?
Is the trash can the only solution?

Hi Bill,

I don't have a NetSDR here, but I'll take a shot at the problem.  Have you tried working with the initial hardware setup screen for Gqrx?  There may be some cryptic code to put in the device data to enable the correct antenna.

It is also possible that the firmware / driver needs an update to get Gqrx to work properly with your radio.

There may even be a work-around where you send a terminal command to get it co figured.

Another option to getting it worked out is to find Andrew Csete on github.com and bug him (and the others who read the issue tracker) about running Gqrx in Catalina.

Hope this helps!
