Penninger Radio
« on: July 12, 2020, 05:56:27 PM »

Hi,

Has anyone done business with Penninger Radio in 2020? I tried contacting them through their website form, email and then finally text with a reply saying they are open for business and that they'll check their "spam folder" and get back to me. Never heard back from them again.

Tnx,

MIke

They recently moved from West Chicago to Wilder, Tennessee. That probably has something to do with the delay. They tell about it on their web sight.

Neat products.

Here is a picture of the door to “The Ham Shack”, our old brick and mortar store in West Chicago, Illinois. The brick and mortar store is now closed and we have moved to
487 Big Piney Loop
Wilder, Tennessee  38589.

I tried to purchase a mast from them. My order was confirmed. They charged my credit card. I actually received a message from Charles Penninger saying my mast would ship on April 11. They would not provide a tracking number and the mast never arrived. Now they will not reply to my repeated emails and phone calls. I finally disputed the charge with my credit card provider. My advice is steer clear. Buy from a reputable dealer.

I also tried contacting them via phone and e-mail around 4 years ago then a few times after my initial attempt about a telescoping mast and never heard back so I have a similar suggestion to stay clear.

I guess that I was  lucky in that no contact from them for me meant no lost money but still it's frustrating that after several attempts to contact them there were no answers.
