YRC-1 Connection with Yaesu G-800 Rotor

Have all the connectors from YRC-1 to G800 rotor in proper configuration, however not able to get rotor to respond. Have both sitting on work bench wanting to replace old control G-800SA with new YRC-1. Help!

Make sure YRC is set for the proper control.  There is AC control and DC control.

You can always test a G800 with DC supplies 12V + and - to get it to turn and a simple Ohm meter to test the pot.
