There will be two Bonus Stations in this years Pennsylvania QSO Party (10-11 October).
One will be K3MJW, the club station of the Skyview Radio Society, celebrating their 60th Anniversary.
The other will be W8XK, celebrating the centennial of KDKA. W8XK (originally 8XK, originally licensed to Dr. Frank Conrad) was the original call of the station that became KDKA in 1920, and was also the call for the KDKA shortwave transmitters in the late 1920's into the 1930's.
Both stations will be operating multiple bands and modes during the contest, and will gladly work non-contest stations as well.
QSL both stations as per their QRZ.COM pages.
Please note that W8XK will also be one of the four KDKA Centennial Special Event Stations (along with K3K, K3D, and K3A) in November. The Pa QSO operation will have a separate QSL card (designed by Greg NB3C), and will NOT count for the KDKA Centennial Certificate or other awards.
