So what's the latest news on the Licensing Fee Proposal?

Has Uncle Charlie received enough negative comments yet to bag the idea?....or are they still coming in?  How soon before this "proposal" is thwarted upon us against our wills?...Anyone in the know?...

question unanswered....Then by all means...pay it....and leave the rest of us alone.....the question still stands....what's the latest?....anyone have the inside track on this?.....

The latest:

The Licensing Fee Proposal is an NPRM that was published in the Federal Register on October 15th.

The comment period is now open until November 16th.

Do you think the FCC actually expected to receive overwhelming positive response to a fee increase?

The NPRM is a required process step to implement this. The answer to your question is obvious.
