Need help with Fixed Station GPS in a Yaseu FTM-400XD
« on: November 30, 2020, 02:17:46 PM »

I just purchased a Yaseu FTM-400XD, a friend wants to put up a Fushion repeater and he said a few of the other guys around us were getting a Fusion rig so I jumped in (we have been doing D-Star for a few years now). For now I will be using it simplex and there it works just great (Like my IC-5100). I picked up a hot spot and with a little playing with it even got it to work and work well.

My problem (there is always a problem) When I look on the screen it says crazy distances when its in APRS mode or if I am listing to a room with the hot spot. In my shack the GPS does not work. I found a place to put in a fixed location and I get to QRZ looked myself up and tried to figure it out but I am sure its screwed up. Can anyone give me the numbers I should input into the rig to make this work please?
