Ugh... more personal attacks, I guess that is to be expected from some AMSAT-NA representatives.

Anyway, here’s a snapshot of Cell A aboard AO-91. It’s clearly not able to hold a charge when the spacecraft enters eclipse:

"I've been using AO-91 everyday for months. I think just one day it was in safe mode. The AMSAT status page shows it's been solid for the last six days ... " -from another message service.

Don't delete those HT memories just yet!

I was on the same pass as the person that wrote that, N9KT, and AO-91 went into safe mode halfway through the pass. I even worked, and logged, N9KT early in the pass. A satellite that goes into safe mode due to faulty batteries is a characteristic of a failing satellite.

Here’s what I Tweeted after the pass when the satellite went into safe mode due to failing batteries:

During the 16:47z pass (12/15), AO-91 was in safe mode. Other, older, cube sats continue to function, the AMSAT-NA Fox series has been plagued by battery issues. It’s really, really sad  :(
