QRPguys customer service
« on: December 13, 2020, 11:47:33 AM »

Has anyone had issues with QRPguys?

I bought a 40m-10m multi tuner kit and the SS antenna bolts, nuts, and wingnuts were a different thread pitch and couldn't be used. I emailed them twice at qrpguys.parts@gmail.com Then I sent a message to qrpguys@gmail.com . It has been over 2 weeks and I have not gotten any response.

I've built a few of the QRpguys simple kits and, unfortunately, I too have tried contacting them with zero response. Small stuff like a missing part and I ended up buying the missing part from Digikey.

I love their kits and the manuals are first rate....hope QRpguys survives.

I also have built small kits from Pacific Antennas and they respond almost immediately if I email them. Again, nice small kits and outstanding manuals

It took quite a long time for my kit to arrive. I just put it off to all the other delays in shipping. I can't excuse them ignoring my emails. I guess, I won't be ordering from them again.

Well, I need to let everyone know, I just received the SS bolts and wing nuts from QRPguys.  I did not get any response from the 3 emails I sent starting a month ago but QRPguys came through with the parts.

A friend asked me to build their K8TND regen receiver.  It never worked.  After assembly I found that two resistors were a decade off value (i.e. 56 ohm shipped instead of a 560 ohm.)  One of the 10K pots was defective.  The tuning pot came with the wrong mounting hardwared.  Total garbage.  Wrote to them once, no response. I'd avoid their kits, there is no quality control.

No response to several emails I sent them regarding purchasing a kit...........Spend your money elsewhere.
