Best Logbook software for Mac

What is the best and easiest logbook program to use with Mac computers.  Most ham programs are PC but once you go mac, you never go back.

If you want full portfolio of options then MacLoggerDX is great.     For a basic logger,  I like RumLog, is basic and runs very well and is well supported.   I have both and have settled on Rumlog.   I realized I didn't need all the stuff MacLoggerDX does.

I run MacloggerDX and I'm very happy with it.  Fully integrates my IC-7300 as well as connecting to my DX cluster, LOTW, Clublog, etc.  Download it and give it a try before you buy it.

I use RUMlogNG on an Apple Mac.  It is fantastic for my needs.  I especially like th automatic Map feature which shows the location of the station once you link to one of two databases. It draws a line from your location to the destination station........or you can zoom in to get geographic details.   It is also free.  However, I highly recommend a donation to the author for his outstanding work.

Thanks for great advice.  Does anyone know if either program will work on a iPad using an external keypad?

MacLogger DX (MLDX)

Don's support is 2nd to none, the program is easy to use and you can use as many or as few features as you desire.

It can be tailored for specific contests - as a casual contest op it works well for me.  The program does not automatically output cabrillo files, but the conversion is a snap.

MLDX also interfaces well with the other programs I use - FLDigi suite and WSJT-X.

Did you have to roll back a couple versions of MLDX to use the 32 bit OS compatible with FLDigi?  Or does Fldigi have a 64 bit version?
I am in the process of shopping for a new computer and leaning very heavily to a Mac.  I already have a paid subscription to MLDX and with FLDigi....that's really all I need.  Rig is an RGO-One interfaced with a Microham DXP.

I've been using RUMlog(NG) for many years and I love it! There was a few months I tried to use a Windows PC as my main computer, due to a lot of Ham softwares are PC only (N1MM+, SDRuno, Waterfall Bandmap etc.) But after trying several Windows based logging software, I couldn't be comfortable with any of them, I really tried! I'm glad I got a new Mac mini with M1 chip. Unfortunately, SDRuno won't work in Parallels Desktop (Windows 10/11), they replied to my ticket within one hour, and told me they don't support Windows for ARM yet. SDRuno 2.0 will support Mac and Linux also, I can't wait!

If I change logbook software, is it possible to download data into the new logbook software
that I already logged into the "old" logbook software?

Many of us swap logbooks from time to time. The ADIF format mostly takes care of everything when exporting and importing.

I'm not into contests or avid DXing, but I operate digital modes due to severe hearing loss.  My shack computer is an iMac and I use RumlogNG.  I highly recommend this logger.  The author is very responsive to customers, and maintains a forum for questions, requests etc.
