SO-50

In the past, there have been reports of SO-50 only operating while illuminated. This is fake news. SO-50 is just fine, 18 years after being launched. It remains accessible in both sunlight and eclipse.

Like I said, there have been reports in the past of SO-50 only operating while illuminated. Here's one such report from an AMSAT-NA representative. I am simply posting/stating what others have said/written about SO-50:

It would seem that SO-50 has always worked in both sunlight and eclipse regardless of what any AMSAT-NA representative might have to say. Let's all hope that it continues to perform well for many more years.
