What's Happened to the AMSAT BB?
« on: December 31, 2020, 10:17:37 PM »

Every time I try to get into the AMSAT mailing list, I can't find any posts (at the following link:  https://www.amsat.org/pipermail/amsat-bb/) later than December 6th.

Is it me or did AMSAT stop the mailing list?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

AMSAT changed the software that runs its mailing lists. You can get to the current system at:

http://mailman.amsat.org/

If you were subscribed to the AMSAT-BB list previously, you would need to set up a new account on the Mailman server at the link above. Then you are supposed to be able to set your list preferences, as those were not carried over from the old software.

Thanks, Patrick.  That was easy enough.  I really appreciate it.

If only what's really wrong with the AMSAT BB could be fixed with a software change...sigh
