Shipping and Deliveries
« on: January 19, 2021, 04:00:57 PM »

If anyone is selling an item here and your buyer is in Maryland make sure you ship the item UPS or FEDEX. If you ship it USPS, your buyer wont get it. The postal service down here are months behind in deliveries and there not delivering packages or personal mail. Theyre just delivering junk mail. I havent gotten any mail in two weeks, yet alone the transceiver I  bought here two weeks ago. They lost it. The tracking is wrong.

List your item accordingly.
Maryland buyers should ask for another delivery option when purchasing online.

Intended as humor, yes.  Also yes, I do consider IRE's post to be a rant.

Maybe they are wearing their COVID masks to high and cannot read the address.

Maybe peaceful protestors are allowed to also set fire to mail trucks and Post Offices on fire.

Maybe it’s just a fact?
My stimulus check was scheduled to be mailed on the 6th and 13 days later, still no check. Didn’t receive a single piece of mail last week and nothing so far this week.

The Gubb-mint Treasury direct deposited my $600 Corona Spendulous reward in to my bank account on January4.

But, ol'  Uncle Sugar never did send me the earlier big $1200 prize.

Boo-hoo-hoo.

How do these one post wonders find these threads so fast? Is there some sort of special software for Trolls?

I received a USPS package today that was mailed 12/23 about 25 miles away, we are both in NH. On the plus side there was glass included and nothing was damaged and the box looked almost new.

I got both my stimulus very fast, maybe they checked my party of choice ;D ::)

Could be a regional problem.

I received today 2 E-bay purchases. Delivery took 6 days for 1 purchase and 4 days for the other. Both originated from southern California with standard USPS shipping.

Another item purchased from Utah took 3 days to arrive with USPS standard delivery last week.

However a purchase in mid December took 23 days from Connecticut with the same USPS standard delivery.

But then again, an order from California, which I specified 2nd day air from UPS took 15 days to arrive. They did not charge the extra shipping cost cause they knew it would not make it. And sent an email to let me know that. (Thank you Summit Racing!) FYI Summit Racing has a California warehouse.

I ship a lot of product to USA. As mentioned, region specific as to delivery times. Came across this today on Yahoo news regarding recent USPS delivery stats;

That's assuming "our" group is still recognized as a party. ... sigh ...

USPS is terrible lately.
Never did get my water bill or cable bill in December.
But I knew I had to pay them, so I did it online, and in time.

As a result of that, I think I've had enough of the USPS.
Moving all my bills to email and online payments.
Shipping seems to work just fine with UPS and FedEx.
