CB'ers keep the country fed, put gas in our cars, brings goods, products, and groceries to every one horse town in the country.

This is a true statement. Without trucks and their drivers, our lives would not nearly be as good.
Much respect to truck drivers. They truly are "essential workers".

You're assuming ALL truckers have CB radios in their trucks.  I doubt this is the case anymore.  I think a lot of companies frown on it because they don't want their drivers distracted while on the road.

There are plenty of forums already available for CB operators, possibly more than are out there for hams.

I like the idea of separate category.  Then maybe several of the posters here can find a home.  By the way, re QST Jan 1985 there is a graph showing typical ground wave for various HF frequencies.  10 miles at 30 Mhz.  Dad told me long ago not to argue with idiots.

K0TC=Vanity 10th area callsign purchased by an out of area 21st century Extree.

"10 miles at 30 Mhz."    Hee-haw.
That is of no use, just silliness.
That distance is easily covered via line of sight propagation using a fraction of the power....
and 3 to 4 times that via tropospheric scatter.

Some thing else many of the boys and girls do not understand is that there is no "skip".  There is no such thing.  The term comes from the strange laws of physics of the illegal "cb" world. (This statement will make some HAMcb types heads explode...even though 100% true).  Ha!

Now class to help you begin to learn just a little about propagation, at the elementary level...
Please go to wikipedia.org and read the very basic, beginners level article on "Ground wave propagation".

That can be like your home work assignment for tonight.
It will help you a lot to begin on learning one of the most simple, basic fundamentals of the Amateur Radio hobby.

You like the idea of a separate category?  Is it 1955?  You CBers get in the back of the bus.  Thats called segregation.

Might want to think before you start typing.

The real clowns are the people throwing around the R word.

Wow! That is quite a chart from la-la land.

Probably they were using a ground mounted Solarcon Whiz Bang 8000 or a Tram-Sirio Godzilla 890...or maybe one those dual co-phaser antennas like the big boy truck jockeys...the ones that are clipped to mirrors are tilted forward to really fling duh signal down duh road.  Trucker ground wave. Ha!

The men don't wear earrings and gowns down at the courthouse...the kids still don't take their trips on the methane and smoke the LSD...the firemen still hose down the looters when they are just thinkin' about it...In my Homa in the USA.

We don't smoke marijuana in Muskogee
We don't take no trips on LSD
We don't burn no draft cards down on Main Street
We like livin' right, and bein' free
I'm proud to be an Okie from Muskogee
A place where even squares can have a ball
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse
And white lightnin's still the biggest thrill of all
We don't make a party out of lovin'
We like holdin' hands and pitchin' woo
We don't let our hair grow long and shaggy
Like the hippies out in San Francisco do
And I'm proud to be an Okie from Muskogee
A place where even squares can have a ball
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse
And white lightnin's still the biggest thrill of all
Leather boots are still in style for manly footwear
Beads and Roman sandals won't be seen
Football's still the roughest thing on campus
And the kids here still respect the college dean
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse
In Muskogee, Oklahoma, U.S.A.

N’s are fine. We just don’t pander to the LGBTQCB crowd.
